Exercises from page 4 and 10.

Hello again readers. If you are confused on what in the world is exercise 4 and 10, it is homework for my English teacher. I will also be posting a lot more of my English homework on this blog. I hope to write about more interesting topics once I get used to blogging. I  like watching Pirates of the Carribean movies, thats why I chose Jack Sparrow for my blog picture. I hope this clears things up.

Here is my homework:

Exercise 4 (page4)
-Redbank library

• books(research and extracurricular)
• bulletin board(announcements, upcoming events, meetings, etc.)

-Google(online)

• chat rooms
• news, weather, games, etc.
• search engine

-Lunch Forum

• bookstore
• social area for friends and classmates to eat lunch and meet new people.
• bulletin board(announcements, scholarships, upcoming campus events, etc.)

-David L. Rice Library(on campus)

• Basically used for research and getting homework done.
• Starbuck's coffee house is in the library also.(social setting)

Exercise 10(page 10)

-Polluting the environment and extinction of animals.(World Wildlife Foundation)

• preserve the environment for future generations.
• keep the air and earth clean for peoples health.
• protect animals so that future generations can see them.
• prevent the earth from being destroyed by pollution and toxic waste.
• Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

-Elderly/Health care

• elderly being mistreated and can't afford medicine.
• helping the elderly and other people have equal opportunities to get proper medicine and medical treatment when their sick or ill.
• learning from the elderly to prevent mistakes in the future.

-The Poor.

• helping poor children be able to go to school.
• help poor people find jobs so they can become middle class workers.
